Meeting
President J.C.
Worthen called the regular membership of the Idaho State B.A. S. S federation
to order at
The minutes from
the August meeting were read and passed.
Also the minutes from the July (that were tabled) were discussed and
passed.
TREASURE
REPORT:
Report from the
treasure was read and motion made to accept and passed.
YOUTH
REPORT: Scyler
was not in attendance. It was mentioned that the attendance at Howard’s
for the Cast for Kids was low apparently there was several conflicting
activities going on in
CONSERVATION
REPORT: Mike Lemke had reported that the conservation
was approached from the Mountain Home Hawg Hunters to consider helping in
donating money to buy buoys for C. J. around the
The Mountain home
group will be putting these out.
Mike also
mentioned that the supplies are nearly ready to do some more structuring at
C. J. This will be done in October but no official
date has been determined. TV marine will
be having the structure stuff put together at there business.
COMMUNICATION
REPORT: Steve No report.
TOURNAMENT
REPORT: Bruce reported that that the South is getting
ready the last qualifier. Discussion about the East drawing with the East, and South with the
South.
Dusty gave the
bill for food for federation to deduct from the South expenses.
He and Gary
discussed what the east needed to bring and they decided that everything was
ready for the BBQ Saturday night after the weigh in…
Scales of Justice
tournament is looking good and that a possibility of more
boaters are needed. But actually
the tournament is looking ready to go.
Old
Business: The state federation banquet will be on
Sponsor
appreciation plaques: This is needed a
list for Gary and Karen to get the plaques made up, some discussion some of the
sponsors would like them now while others would be ok with getting them at
banquet.
Mike mentioned
that Nashua Homes would appreciate theirs now and we did mention that we would
like for them to attend the banquet also.
Others mentioned
were Chevrolet of Caldwell, and Standard Battery.
Bruce conducted a
survey of his area on what federation could do to help improve the morale and
membership of the state. Most of the
overall agreement was not enough communication be federation and the
clubs. The board mentioned that they
would all try to help out and make this better.
New
Business: Next month is the nomination of officers so
that in the November board meeting the elections will take place.
On Thursday
November the 4th will be the planning meeting for the tournaments for the 2005
season.
2006 Divisional
information, it will be in
On October the
15th a committee that has been selected will begin going over various items to
help out with federation by laws, team rules, and other interests. At this time the committee consists of Gary
Keith, Karen Keith, Steve Day, Bruce Flesher, Jim Price, Jim Surprise, Mike
Lempke, Dusty Womack, Dave Keever, and Larry Borchers.
