- High
School Fishing-Bruce announced a plan to contact each Idaho School
District to encourage student
participation in HS fishing events. It has been determined one reason for
lack of participation is that SD believed they would need to fund the
event which is not the case.
Contacts with SD should dispel that assumption and fully explain
how youth may participate without cost to the State. A concerted effort
will be made to jointly contact SD Supers perhaps at a joint meeting.
- Future
Fishing Foundation-Hooked on Fishing, not Drugs. Discussion by Bruce and members
attending regarding this organization and its promotion of “Hooked on
Fishing, not Drugs.”
- Idaho
Sportsman Show-Deadline to enter is November. A decision needs to be made
by TIBF to participate in show. Discussion ensued regarding adequate
member volunteers to man the booth and concern there is not sufficient
bodies to do so. It was suggested
that booth event be planned to minimize need for multiple volunteers and
less labor intensive.

- Bruce

arises.

onsite to facilitate all three events.
